Ok so the pic above doesn’t exactly look like one of those pinterest pics, that screams, “PICK ME!” but let me tell you guys, you should pick this recipe because it’s simple and delicious.
My mom taught me this recipe and she makes biscuits better than yours, probably. She was using butter like Paula Deen before Paula Deen was even cool, Y’all.
Most of the time when we cook biscuits, whether homemade or frozen, we just throw them on the pan and into the oven, like so.
Well my mom taught me a little trick that seriously makes biscuits like 1000 times BUTTER. I mean BETTER! but seriously, BUTTER the top of them. Just pat on a a “little” (uses 1 stick for each biscuit) butter.
Then pop them in the oven for the amount of time required, and you’ll be amazed by the difference it makes. While you’re waiting on the biscuits to cook, go ahead and whip up some scrambled eggs and sausage patties. If you don’t know how to do that, then google it, cuz I ain’t yo babysitter. Got enough kids of my own, know i’m sayin? Ok, Ok, I’ll show you a pic of some patties, but that’s it! Consider yourself blessed.
Forget bland old boring, “i’m not crispy on the bottom” biscuits, and say, “Hello” to your new side chick “crispy bottom biscuit”!
Once you’re able to handle the heat, get in that kitchen bro, and cut them biscuits in halfsies. Then slap a big ole’ sausage patty on there. Add some of those scrambled eggs that you googled how to make, and throw on the cheese if you please. It spreads like a disease. Ok that one was dumb but whatever.
This next step is a real doozy. Might do you in for the week! You’ll be saying, “I done been slavin over them biscuits. I can’t go on!” but you will go on! You will go on to do great things! Know why? Because when you taste that breakfast biscuit, it’s gonna give you some inspiration. Like you’re probably going to be a prophet or something after having it. Oh right so like I said, the next step is a doozy… *whispers* “put the tops on them”
Oh i’m so glad you stuck around for the suspense! Welp, that’s a wrap for this super simple recipe. Check back in next week for more buttery, artery clogging, where’s-my-life-alert recipe’s!
